We always like to try whatever food the state is known for. Well here in New Hampshire, besides boiled dinners, the big food is apples and warm apple donuts. Darn - that might we had to try some from the local farm! Yum.

What a fun town we discovered in Portsmouth and Hamptown! They were both such cute towns with a lots of New England feels. Of course, being by the ocean is always amazing. It is crazy to think it is pounding the coast south of here with Hurricaine Ian and yet calm as can be here in New Hampshire.

We enjoyed exploring the towns - just walking around to see what all was there. Gardens are still beautiful here. We drove down the coast a bit - ending in Newburyport, MA - just stopping now and then to look over the water.

We decided to try a lobster roll for lunch at Beach Plum. We decided again that while lobster is good... it maybe isn't worth the big price tag for us. That little 5oz sandwich with chips was $27.

Loving being back by the ocean!
