We are Bill & Suzy. We both retired in 2020 determined to live our retirement dream of traveling around the US.
LET THE ADVENTURES BEGIN !!!!
Our first step was to purchase a 2021 Grand Design Imagine 2600RB. We picked the RV up from Pleasureland RV in St Cloud at the end of July 2020, and brought her back to a spot at Rush Haven RV Campground on Rush Lake outside of Stancefield, MN to start enjoying the RV Lifestyle. We named her IRMA Unit (Imagine Retirement Mobile Adventure) and began the task of learning the how to's to advance past our RV newbies status, as well as decking out IRMA for our big first adventure.
We left a chilly Minnesota in January 2021 as we set off for four months to find adventure and warmer weather. After 100 days in the RV somewhere down South - we decided we loved this life style and didn't want to stop exploring. Upon our return to Minnesota at the end of April we set out to sell our Sticks n' Bricks condo. With that completed, we hit the road June 1, 2021 and we are now living full time in our home on wheels!
Update - as of January 2023 we have sold Erma - sad day but the timing was right for us for a number of reasons. We purchased a home laster that year. We continue our travels - just living with a base camp to return to.
Our new motto is "Chasing 70 - not the age, but the temperature".
